SONY to invest in Nigeria

 

SONY Corp and Well Trade Services UK limited have announced plans to invest £30 million in Nigeria's broadcast and audiovisual production industry. Creazoni Communications Limited of Nigeria is partnering with SONY and WTS to target Nigeria's broadcast and film industries.

This announcement could mean a HUGE facelift for future Nollywood movies and other media productions based in Nigeria. So lets keep our fingers crossed and hope Naija big wigs behave themselves and don't try any 419 Shenanigans!

I think it's a good thing for Nigerian movie industry, it shows that part of what we are doing in this country are being appreciated elsewhere
