The beat goes on - Femi Kuti live in New York

After his club "The New Africa Shrine" dedicated to Afro-beat music and the legacy of his father Fela Kuti was shut down by Nigerian authorities in Lagos last week. Femi Kuti was still able to hold it together and stick to his engagement to play with his band Positive Force at the Irving plaza in New York on June 4, 2009. Watch his awesome performance up top!
