Nigerian arrested in Mumbai for trafficking Heroin
Monday, September 7, 2009 at 12:25PM Muri Jssola was arrested on Saturday at Mumbai's international airport by the Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of Mumbai Customs for trafficking 910gm of heroin.
He was about to board Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-611 for Lagos via Adis Ababa when he was arrested by AIU agents. The agents found the heroin concealed in five speakers of a home theatre system Muri was travelling with.
Upon further investigation by customs authorities it was established that Muri Jssola got the heroin from a contact in Delhi and made it by train to Mumbai on Friday.
