Boko Haram gunmen attack church in Gombe - 6 dead

The terrorist organization Boko Haram on Thursday night attacked a Deeper Life Bible Church in Gombe, northern Nigeria, killing at least six (6) worshippers and wounding ten (10) others.

The church is located in the Nasarawo district of Gombe city.

Casualties have been taken to Gombe Specialist Hospital and the Federal Medical Centre, THEWILL gathered from a source in the state.

Security forces, who engaged the terrorists in a gun fight have cordoned off the area where the attack took place.

This attack is the third since the ‘ultimatum’ Boko Haram Islamists issued Christians to vacate the north expired on Wednesday.

The group bombed multiple locations in Maiduguri and Damaturu on Wednesday, but no casualties were recorded.
