Nigeria's Oil Minster, Diezani Allison-Madueke, has told the BBC the country's state oil firm is not insolvent.

You generally can't believe what polticians say as the old joke goes:
Q:When can you tell if a politician is lieing?
A:If their lips are moving.
So with all the corruption and under-the-table deals that go hand in hand with doing business in Africa, it won't surprise me that cashflow is a tad tight at the state oil company.
