Siasia Names Osaze Against Ghana

Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia on Tuesday named a 22-man list for the international friendly against Ghana Black Stars on August 9, with Osaze Odemwingie included in the list.

Osaze was excluded from Super Eagles last two matches, the first against Argentina in Abuja which the team won 4-1 and the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia that the team drew 2-2 in Addis Ababa.

But last week, the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation intervened in the imbroglio, ending the rift.

The inclusion of Odemwingie has put to rest any form of misunderstanding between the player and the coach.

The list with made up of six strikers, six midfielders, seven defenders and three goalkeepers included Obinna Nsofor, Victor Anichebe, Ikechukwu Uche, Ekigbo Ehiosun and Emmanuel Emenike.

Mikel Obi leads the pack of midfielders that also has Fegor Ogude, Joel Obi, Kalu Uche, Emmanuel Ekpo and Solomon Okoronkwo.

Defenders are Taye Taiwo, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Gege Soriola, Elderson Echiejile, Joseph Yobo, Yusuf Ayila and Efe Ambrose.

The three goalkeepers as usual are Vincent Eyiama, Bamidele Aiyenugba and Chigozie Agbim.
