Video - Maiduguri struggles amid violence
It was once a thriving city - a centre of learning and commerce on the old Trans-Sahara trade route. But Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State in modern-day Nigeria, is now struggling. Three years of violence between the armed group Boko Haram and the military has left people there desperate.
