  1. Overpopulation is perhaps the most serious challenge that Nigeria faces going forward into the future, yet it does not even feature in the agenda of the authorities, or the minds of the generality of the population. I worry very much for the future..

  5. The very interesting fact is that Nigeria has experienced a population explosion for at least the last 50 years due to very high fertility rates, quadrupling its population during this time.
